Location: Taranaki Job type: Full time Duration: Contract We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy engineering workshop in Taranaki. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of fabrication and maintenance projects within a well-established engineering environment. This role is ideal for a tradesperson who takes pride in producing high-quality work, works safely and enjoys being part of a skilled workshop team. About the Role Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be involved in the fabrication, repair and assembly of a wide range of steel components and structures. Key responsibilities include: Fabrication and assembly of structural and mechanical components Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Cutting, grinding, fitting and preparing materials Workshop-based fabrication and repair work Maintaining high-quality weld standards and workmanship Following health and safety procedures at all times About You To be successful in this role, you will need: Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator within an engineering or heavy industrial environment Strong experience with MIG, TIG, SMAW and FCAWStrong attention to detail and quality workmanship Reliable, punctual and safety conscious Able to work independently and as part of a team Pipe welding experience will be an advantage What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate based on experience Stable, full-time hours Variety of workshop projects Supportive team environment Opportunity to work with a respected engineering business in Taranaki #J-18808-Ljbffr
