In the role of a National Clinical Scheduler, your key accountabilities will be scheduling of outpatient appointments for our patients across Aotearoa, and management of the waiting list in accordance with service targets whilst ensuring the process is patient focussed. For more information, please visit the job description here. About the Team/Service Join our dedicated and collaborative New Zealand Familial Gastrointestinal Cancer Service (NZFGCS). We are a national service funded by Health New Zealand. Our multidisciplinary clinical team of Family History Assessors, Gastroenterologists and Colorectal Surgeons identify, assess and manage people with familial gastrointestinal (GI) cancer syndromes. The team also provides education, information and support to families, including medical management advice and a colonoscopy surveillance referral programme. About you This is a fast-paced role requiring high aptitude in prioritisation, problem solving and self-management. You will constantly be working in an ever-changing environment, so a flexible approach and proactive thinking are essential. You will bring with you great people skills, excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and your empathy towards patients will contribute towards a positive patient experience.
