Job Description
The Department of Conservation (DOC) on Rakiura/Stewart Island is seeking a Ranger, Biodiversity to lead the seasonal programme protecting hoiho / yellow-eyed penguins, including nest searching, monitoring, transport, rehabilitation, and data management. You will coordinate field work with mana whenua and community groups, and may assist with hoiho recovery at the rehabilitation centre. The role is full-time, fixed-term for 8 months based in Stewart Island, with shared staff housing available. #J-18808-Ljbffr
