Newspaper Sales Consultant (Part Time and Full Time)

As the first point of contact for our newspaper subscribers, retailers and distribution teams, we're looking for someone who brings energy, positivity and a customer-first mindset to our already awesome team. We're currently on the hunt for two Newspaper Sales Consultants to join our team in Ellerslie – one full-time role (40 hours per week) and one part-time role (20 hours per week). Key Responsibilities No two days are the same. You'll help customers with enquiries and complaints, resolve issues, process subscriptions and account changes, and identify opportunities to promote and sell NZME's products and services. You'll play a key role in both customer satisfaction and customer retention, ensuring every interaction delivers a great experience. What You'll Bring Previous customer service experience is essential. Experience in retail, hospitality, supermarkets, contact centres, telesales or similar customer-facing roles will be highly regarded. Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy A positive, resilient attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure A willingness to learn, develop and contribute to a high-performing team The confidence to build rapport with customers and identify sales opportunities What's in it for you?
