As our People Systems & Insights Specialist, you'll make it easier for our people and leaders to get things done. You'll be the go-to expert for our People systems, data and digital tools - making sure they work smarter and deliver a great people experience. You'll own the HRIS (bob) roadmap and lead system optimisation, configuration, testing and new feature releases, always looking for ways to simplify processes, remove friction and get more value from our technology. You'll also find practical ways to use AI across our People tools - automating repetitive tasks, helping our people and leaders get better answers faster, and turning data into sharper insights that help us make better decisions and prioritise what matters most. At its heart, this role is about using systems, data and AI to make the people experience simpler, smarter and more human - taking away the admin so our people and leaders can spend more time on the conversations, decisions and moments that matter. How you'll show up | Tu mai Tu Rangatira You will have a strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, enabling you to translate operational people needs into effective system, process and automation solutions You will have administered People systems before — ideally Bob — covering configuration, optimisation & vendor partnership You are the person people come to when something breaks or won't integrate, and you enjoy solving the issue rather than escalating it You bring an employee experience mindset to people systems and can translate complex features into everyday use You have strong attention to detail and respect for data integrity You are confident in reporting, analytics and workforce insight — comfortable in the data, able to spot trends, risks and opportunities, and able to tell the story to any level of the business You are curious and confident with AI-enabled tools, and motivated to keep improving how we use them in our daily work You bring an understanding of cyclical remuneration and reward processes, with the ability to support the data, system and reporting requirements that sit behind them You communicate well and build trusted relationships with stakeholders, vendors and the wider People team What you'll get | Ngā rauemi Manaakitanga Flexible working options that support you to do your best work Plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and build a career you're proud of Discounts on 2degrees products and services, including a phone plan worth bragging about A team full of smart humans who'll challenge you, back you and have a laugh along the way We welcome applications from everyone, including people living with disabilities or who are neurodiverse.
