Gantry Crane Operator - Wellington

Full training is provided for the right person. We're seeking someone who is reliable, safety-focused, customer-oriented, and eager to learn. This is a physical role that requires working in varying weather conditions, with a strong focus on teamwork and health and safety. Job Description What You'll Be Doing Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch Learning to operate overhead gantry cranes and forklifts Loading and unloading steel products safely and efficiently Receiving inwards goods and completing warehouse documentation Assisting with stocktakes and inventory management Maintaining a safe work environment and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Providing excellent service to both internal and external customers What You'll Bring A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn A commitment to working safely and following health and safety procedures Good communication and teamwork skills Reliability and a strong work ethic A full, clean NZ Class 1 Driver Licence Previous warehouse, forklift, gantry crane, or steel industry experience is advantageous, but not essential What's In It For You?
