We are looking for a Vehicle Movement Driver in a fixed term full-time capacity, to help with our peak season, providing on-site operational support, including vehicle movements, supplier runs, parts collections, and branch logistics activities within Christchurch. What We Offer: Purpose: Your role will be crucial in ensuring timely repairs, compliance renewals, and smooth process flows, minimizing customer wait times. Education and Experience: While previous experience in a driver role is desirable, it is not essential. A Full Driver’s license is required. Skills and Attributes: We value strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. You should be able to handle pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively. Key Responsibilities: Moving vehicles throughout the branch to support fleet, workshop, detailing, and customer service. Ensuring vehicles are parked in the correct locations and maintaining an organised, well-presented yard at all times. Conducting daily vehicle walkarounds. Refuelling vehicles and ensuring they are ready for operational or customer use. Monitoring yard and proactively repositioning vehicles to maximise space and efficiency. Using Microsoft Teams to coordinate vehicle movements and respond to operational requests from various departments. Working collaboratively with fleet, workshop, stores, and customer-facing teams to support daily branch operations. Actively participating in team discussions and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency. Complying with all thl Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices, including reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses.
