We’re looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Guest Experience Host to join our NZ Rentals Operations team, based in Queenstown on a fixed term full-time basis to help over our busy peak season. As a Guest Experience Host, you’ll be the welcoming face of our branch, supporting customers through vehicle collections and returns, sharing helpful travel and driving advice, and ensuring every interaction reflects the high service standards of thl. About the role: Reporting to the Branch Manager or Local Host Team Leader, you’ll play an important part in creating memorable customer experiences while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch. What you’ll be doing: Welcoming customers at vehicle collection and return, delivering excellent service every step of the way. Completing rental agreements and customer paperwork accurately and efficiently. Familiarising customers with vehicle features, on-road procedures and safe driving practices. Supporting customers with travel plans, itinerary advice and local information. Helping drive frontline sales and positive customer reviews in line with team targets. Following thl standard operating procedures and contributing to a safe workplace. Assisting with vehicle quality checks, re-cleans and other branch tasks as required. About you: You’ll bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping people. You’ll enjoy working in a busy team environment and be comfortable juggling multiple priorities while keeping customers at the centre of everything you do. To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English. Computer literacy and confidence using systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. A team-focused approach and willingness to support where needed. Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends. Sales skills or a willingness to learn. Previous customer service experience; rental industry experience would be an advantage.
