About the Role We are looking for a compassionate and capable Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Mental Health for Older people team at Tauranga Hospital. The 10-bed inpatient unit provides short‑term assessment, care and treatment for tangata whai ora with complex mental health presentation such as dementia, psychological conditions, and palliative needs. In this rewarding role, you will support tangata whai ora and their whanau through deeply personal journeys - applying a mix of physical, mental health and communication skills. You will have access to learning and development opportunities including in‑class education, e‑learning, and postgraduate study specific to Older Persons Mental Health. This is a permanent, part‑time role working 32 hours a week. Shifts are rostered across a 24‑hour schedule.
