Senior Structural Engineer

PTL are looking for a senior structural engineer to join our dynamic team of structural engineers and fire engineers. The role will be based in Auckland as a satellite to our Christchurch and Queenstown offices. Role Description The successful candidate will initially be PTL’s only Auckland‑based engineer, supporting a strong portfolio of active Auckland projects. Working closely with our Christchurch and Queenstown offices, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of PTL’s Auckland presence, with a view to build and mentor a local team of structural and fire engineers. The successful candidate will: Have an internationally recognised tertiary degree in structural engineering Have at least 5 years' NZ based experience Be a chartered structural engineer or be on track to gain chartership Have a strong track record of leading the design and monitoring of construction projectsli>Have a love of learning and sharing knowledge Be focused on people and relationships Be passionate about the opportunity to grow others, motivated by a leadership role, with the ability to own the delivery of high quality client outcomes.
