Project Director

Redpath Partners are working exclusively with a highly regarded and well resourced project management business with a unique hybrid model across both consultancy and project delivery. Role This role will provide oversight across a portfolio of technically demanding projects, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and the wider leadership team to ensure successful project outcomes. The role will combine project leadership with client relationship management, commercial oversight and broader contribution to business growth. The responsibilities of the role will include: Leading projects through the full project lifecycle from feasibility and design through procurement and construction delivery Acting as a senior client representative and trusted advisor Providing strategic direction across project programmes, cost, procurement and delivery Leading and mentoring Project Managers and wider project teams Managing key consultant, subcontractors and stakeholder relationships Providing technical and commercial oversight across project delivery Identifying and managing project risks, programme and commercial outcomes Playing a key role in the future growth and strategic direction of the organisation Requirements Suitable candidates will have the following experience: Significant experience within ideally both a project management consultancy and contractor delivery environment in NZ Proven experience operating at Project Director or Senior Project Manager Strong track record delivering complex, technically demanding vertical construction projects Experience leading projects through the full project lifecycle Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, clients and stakeholders at a senior level Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project procurement, contracts, cost and programme management Proven leadership capability, including the ability to mentor and develop project teams Remuneration package $230-260k + annual performance bonus Senior position within a well funded and highly resourced business Genuine opportunity to influence the growth and strategic direction of the business Clear pathway into broader senior leadership positions Long term opportunity within a business with significant growth plans Opportunity to work within a unique hybrid consultancy and delivery model #J-18808-Ljbffr
