The Role The Senior Programme Accountant will provide financial leadership and oversight across a complex, multi-year programme of work. You will be responsible for programme financial management, forecasting, reporting, investment planning, and governance support. This role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and programme delivery, providing a rare opportunity to contribute to a transformation programme with significant organisational impact. Key Responsibilities Include Leading programme budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities Developing and maintaining complex programme cost models Supporting business case development and investment planning Providing financial advice to programme leadership and governance forums Undertaking affordability assessments and funding analysis Supporting benefits realisation and investment reporting Managing financial modelling across multiple projects and funding sources Ensuring appropriate accounting treatment, controls, and financial governance Delivering insights and recommendations that support executive decision-making Role Requirements To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring Chartered Accountant status (CAANZ or equivalent) Significant experience supporting large programmes, transformation initiatives, or capital investment portfolios Advanced financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting capability Experience contributing to business cases, investment planning, and benefits management Strong understanding of capital and operating expenditure management within programme environments Experience providing financial advice to senior leaders, governance groups, and executive stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
