Apprenticeship Opportunity – Refrigeration Mechanic Wakatipu Heating & Refrigeration is looking for a motivated and reliable person to join our team as an apprentice refrigeration mechanic in early 2027. We are a locally owned company specialising in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration across residential and commercial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a hands‑on trade career, gain practical experience and work towards a recognised qualification while learning from experienced technicians. The ideal applicant will be: Hardworking, reliable and punctual Keen to learn and take direction Interested in practical, hands‑on work Comfortable working as part of a team Safety‑conscious with a positive attitude Eligible to hold a New Zealand driver licence No previous industry experience is required—just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in the trade.
