The successful applicant will Work collaboratively in a fully qualified team Provide high‑quality, nurturing care for babies and young children Plan and implement a responsive, play based curriculum Build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau and the wider community. We’re looking for a teacher who: Loves working with babies and has previous experience in a similar role Uses, or is willing to learn te reo Māori and Pacific languages. TWK is attached to the Teen Parent School in Upper Hutt. This kaupapa plays a vital role in creating inclusive pathways for whānau to continue their learning journey, while tamariki thrive in a nurturing environment. A significant focus of this role is working with babies and very young children, requiring a teacher who is confident, gentle and nurturing. They’ll be happy to spend lots of time cuddling and soothing pēpi.
