About the Role Were looking for a Registered Psychologist to work in our Child Health Service in Te Tai Tokerau. This role will provide efficient and effective services within the Child Health Service. As the Psychologist, you will provide a high standard of clinical practice to provide support for children and young people (up to 16 years) who are neurodiverse or have developmental, cognitive or health based needs. You will join a multi-disciplinary team within a supportive and welcoming environment, based off‑site from the main hospital. Our collaborative culture focuses on building strong, meaningful working relationships. Travel across the region is required. We are a region-wide service operating across Northland, committed to providing exceptional Child Health Services to communities throughout the area. We are dedicated to addressing health inequities for Māori and creating a positive impact on the lives of children. Our Psychology Service offers diagnostic assessments for children with neurodevelopmental conditions and therapeutic support for those affected by chronic health issues impacting their development and wellbeing.
