Responsible for providing theready-responder service to our people managers on day-to-day HR matters in our Packaging business units you will instantly discovervariety and flexibility are the key to this role’s success; there is no typicalday. You could be involved in anythingfrom promoting and embeddingHR policies, practices and strategic objectives, disciplinarymeetings, coaching line managers, recruitment, rolling out learning anddevelopment programs, or writing position descriptions, reporting, administrationand everything in between! Reporting to the Head of People and Culture; the person we arelooking for is a quick learner who can hit the ground running. You will have a proven ability to influence others, sound judgment anddecision-making; great Interpersonal and communication skills; a creative thinker; solutions & delivery focussed; and aboveall have an exceptional customer service ethos. Tobe considered for this role you must possess: Solid experience as a Mid-Senior level Peopleand Culture practitioner, ideally working within a unionised environment and orlarge multi-site organisation. Relevant tertiary qualification in HumanResource Management or equivalent The ability to build effective workingrelationships at all levels of an organisation Have a strong understanding of NZ employmentrelations environment and legislation Exposure to HRIS and LMS Strong attention to detail Inreturn we offer a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits packageincluding medical care plans, personal insurances and a generous superannuationprogram with Oji Fibre Solutions contributions of up to 7.5%.
