We’re looking for a proactive Risk and Safety Coordinator on a full-time permanent capacity to support the continued improvement ofour safety and risk programmes across the business. About the role: Reporting to the Global Head of Risk, Quality & Assurance, you’ll coordinate internal risk and safety programmes, support audit activity, track corrective actions, and help turn insights from incidents, findings and compliance reporting into practical improvements. This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with teams across regions to make health, safety and risk processes easier, clearer, and more effective. What you’ll be doing: Coordinating internal risk and global safety audit programmes across regions. Consolidating audit findings, tracking corrective actions and following up non-conformances through to closure. Preparing audit summaries, dashboards, status updates and compliance reports for the RQA function and leadership teams. Supporting Health & Safety compliance audits, incident investigations, near-miss and hazard reporting, and recommendations for improvement. Driving engagement with the thl Protect programme through communications, site collateral and safety initiatives. Reviewing safety processes and systems to reduce friction and administrative burden for operational teams. Analysing trends across incidents and findings to identify systemic issues and recommend practical solutions. About you: You’ll be organised, detail-focused and confident working with multiple stakeholders. You’ll enjoy coordinating programmes of work, keeping actions on track, and turning information into clear reports, dashboards and updates. You’ll have: Around 2–3 years’ experience in work health and safety, risk, audit, compliance, or a similar coordination-focused role. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities through to completion. A strong attention to detail, with an audit and compliance mindset. Confidence preparing reports, dashboards and written updates, with solid Microsoft Office skills. A proactive, reliable and outcome-focused approach. Exposure to OHS regulation, Workers Compensation / ACC, process development or reporting would be highly regarded. A WHS certificate or diploma, Return to Work qualification, or working knowledge of ISO 45001, ERM and Australian / New Zealand WHS legislation would be beneficial but is not essential.
