About the Role As Manager - Lakes Integrated Community Health Service (LICHS), you will provide operational and clinical leadership across our District Nursing, NASC, START, Community Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams. Reporting to the Service Manager Medicine, you will lead a skilled group of Team Leads and Clinical Nurse Managers to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care that helps people stay well and independent in their own homes and communities. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will own business planning, budget and HR accountabilities for the service, oversee staffing and capacity to match demand, and champion strong clinical governance and quality improvement across the team. You will work in genuine partnership with professional leaders across nursing, allied health and medical staff, and play a key role in supporting hospital avoidance and reducing length of stay through effective, integrated community-based care. About the Team/Service/ Location Our Lakes Integrated Community Health Service brings together District Nursing, NASC, START, Community Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy into one connected, community-facing service working across Rotorua and Taupō. Together, these teams support patients being discharged from hospital, help prevent avoidable admissions, and ensure our communities receive the right care, in the right place, closer to home.
