Electrical & Control Engineer

Our client is a niche multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who provide engineering design and construction of production processing plant, utilities and supporting infrastructure in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and biosciences industries. With existing mechanical, electrical, chemical process, and structural teams they are currently looking to expand their electrical team, and as such are looking for an Electrical & Control Engineer to join the team. You will see electrical, control & automation projects through from concept to completion, being involved in scope & costings, concept and detailed design, and project delivery. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with a few years’ experience under their belt who wants to keep developing. You will work closely with, and be mentored by, senior staff, to further build and develop your skills across design, automation and commissioning as you progress toward a senior engineering role. To be successful in the role you will have: A tertiary Electrical Engineering qualification At least a few years electrical & control design and project management experience working on industrial projects – preferably food and dairy industry projects Experience seeing projects through from concept to on-site commissioning Experience with contract management, contractor management and contract variations This is an opportunity to work on a variety of design and build projects (new and upgrades), with potential for further career advancement opportunities.
