About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner . The role will provide trusted, insightful and comprehensive financial advice and support to the Deputy Chief Executive and their leadership team. The role will be responsible for ensuring the provision of timely and accurate information and business support to assist financial and operational decision-making and management. The Finance Business Partner also plays a leadership role within the Finance team. What you will bring Chartered Accountant or the equivalent Accountant qualification and certification, public sector experience is advantageous. Leading people, and coaching and mentoring to foster high performance and a positive culture. Proven ability to facilitate and support strategic planning, option analysis, and recommendations to empower senior executives to make informed decisions. Applied strong critical thinking skills and be a motivated self-starter. Sound commercial and financial acumen at a senior level. Clear and impactful communication style that influences across the Ministry. Evidenced ability to deliver and to customer requirements and be a trusted advisor to senior executives and their leadership team. Champion of continuous improvement and efficiencies. Demonstrates the ability to write to the expected standard, ensure peer reviews and provide financial assurance and advice on decision papers.
