Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Bus/Truck)

I'm working with a well-established transport business with a fantastic reputation in the industry , and they're looking to add a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to their team. You'll be working with a well-maintained fleet, getting involved in everything from preventative maintenance and servicing through to fault-finding and breakdowns. What you'll be doing Carrying out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance across a heavy vehicle fleet Diagnosing faults and getting to the root of mechanical issues Inspecting vehicles and ensuring they're safe, reliable and ready for the road Completing scheduled maintenance and keeping on top of vehicle condition Recording servicing, repairs and maintenance accurately Attending breakdowns and assisting with roadside repairs when required Working closely with the wider team to keep the fleet moving Following all health and safety requirements and maintaining a high standard of workmanship What we're looking for Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification or equivalent Current Class 2 licence - essential Solid heavy diesel mechanical experience Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability Someone who takes pride in their workmanship A practical, reliable approach and good attention to detail A strong focus on health and safety Someone who is keen to keep learning and developing their skills Why consider it?
