About the role We are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join any of our New Zealand offices. The Structural Engineer will deliver high-quality engineering and will be joining as a member of the strongest technical leadership team of Lines Engineering in Asia Pacific. They will be overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of transmission line projects. Tasks will include technical support, troubleshooting, communication with various stakeholders, and networking within the industry. Key Responsibilities The Structural Engineer is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality design solutions for high voltage transmission line projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing to strategic planning and innovation. Supporting the end-to-end design including modelling, design of structures, and foundations. Foundation designs – varying from normal concrete foundations to pile foundations Site visits and inspections as required Assisting with the preparation of proposals Managing smaller projects or parts of larger projects Interfacing directly with clients on projects and new opportunities What You’ll Bring Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural (or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years structural engineering experience Proficiency in Space Gass beneficial Familiarity with Australian and New Zealand codes (Concrete and Steel) Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills, with a focus on quality and delivery Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and keen to progress career A technically strong and collaborative project environment Long-term career development and progression opportunities Access to industry-leading tools and technologies A structured, professional work environment with a focus on safety, integrity, and delivery excellence Competitive remuneration package and flexible work arrangements where applicable Great team culture and social events Successful candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and provide a police clearance.
