An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Children's Outpatients and Day Stay Unit team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop advanced paediatric nursing skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, with a clear career pathway towards Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) practice. As part of our passionate and dedicated Children's Outpatients team, you will provide specialist nursing care to children, young people and their whānau across a range of outpatient and day stay services. Coordinate and administer paediatric chemotherapy following appropriate training and competency development. Deliver a variety of infusion therapies within the Day Stay Unit. Support children and young people undergoing day procedures and treatments. Work closely with paediatric medical, nursing and allied health teams to provide holistic, family-centred care. Build strong relationships with inpatient paediatric services, ensuring seamless patient journeys across care settings. Develop expertise in managing complex and long-term paediatric conditions.
