About the Role We are seeking a junior Clinical Engineering Technician to join us to provide medical electronics and mechanical engineering services relating to the maintenance, safety/performance testing, and calibration of clinical equipment and patient beds within our Clinical Engineering Department at Northshore Hospital. About you The ideal applicant will hold a relevant qualification (diploma, trade or undergraduate degree) in electrical engineering or electronics, to assist with the general technical maintenance, repair and support of clinical and medical equipment. In addition, an EWRB practicing license such `Electrical Appliance Serviceperson would be advantageous. Preference will be given to applicants with proven skills in the electronic and mechanical aspects of medical equipment safety and maintenance. Previous experience within the healthcare sector is also a big plus. Excellent customer service and communication skills as well as a professional, team player attitude are essential. This is full-time position, working 40 hours per week. A full clean NZ drivers licence is required.
