About the Role The Older Persons and Rehabilitation Service (OPRS) consists of two inpatient wards at Hutt Hospital. We provide assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and discharge planning for people admitted with a wide range of medical conditions including stroke, fractures, amputations and deconditioning post illness or surgery. We also provide older persons mental health inpatient care. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working 0.9 FTE (72 hours per fortnight). Shifts are rostered and rotating, including weekends and night shifts. About the Team/Service Location OPRS is an interesting place to work as our patients are admitted with a wide variety of health conditions. Our supportive nursing team consists of senior nurses, registered nurses, enrolled nurses and health care assistants. We work alongside medical and allied health colleagues in a multidisciplinary team. We provide ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
