Reporting directly to the principal, the executive manager is a pivotal member of the senior leadership team, providing strategic and operational leadership across the school's business, property and administrative functions. Working in partnership with staff, students, whaanau, the board, and external stakeholders, you will ensure that the school's resources, systems, and operations are aligned to support exceptional educational outcomes. This influential role will help shape the school's strategic direction, drive sustainable growth, and build the organisational capability needed to achieve its long-term vision and aspirations. Key responsibilities Manage the school's business, property, and administrative operations. Work with the principal to develop and monitor budgets, reporting, and long-term planning. Manage contracts, procurement, and key service providers. Support strategic planning and organisational growth initiatives. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Ministry requirements, and school policies. Foster a positive, collaborative culture across all operational functions. Provide high-level advice and support to the principal and board. The successful candidate will bring: Proven senior management or executive leadership experience. Strong financial management and business planning skills. Exceptional organisational and project management abilities. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement. A commitment to supporting the educational aspirations of young people. Experience within the education sector is advantageous but not essential.
