Are you an organised and analytical professional who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and balancing competing priorities? Massey University is seeking a Scheduling Analyst to join our Information Systems and Space team within Estates Management. This role plays a critical part in developing and maintaining the University's teaching timetable, ensuring students and staff have access to efficient, compliant, and student-focused scheduling outcomes. The University timetable sits at the centre of the student experience and requires the coordination of teaching spaces, academic requirements, and stakeholder needs. Working closely with colleagues across the University, you'll analyse timetable data, manage competing priorities, resolve scheduling challenges, and contribute to the effective use of teaching spaces. This is a collaborative role that requires sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines. What You'll Be Doing Develop and maintain University teaching timetables. Analyse scheduling data and resolve timetable conflicts. Support academic and professional staff with timetable matters. Contribute to process improvements and service excellence initiatives. Ko koe tēnei? | About You Experience in a complex administration or operational environment. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills. A collaborative and customer-focused approach. Previous experience in scheduling, timetabling, tertiary education, or a similar operational environment would be advantageous. Salary Range The salary band for this position is $60,069 - $84,876 per annum based on skills and experience. Peak Workload Period This role experiences its busiest period between April and October , when timetable development and maintenance activities are at their highest volume. Success during this period requires strong organisation, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines. Why Join Massey?
