Bar Assistant (Part-Time) : ESS Burnham

As a Bar Assistant , you will support the day‑to‑day operation of bar facilities at Burnham Military Camp . You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent service, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining stock, and ensuring the bar operates safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards. This is a Permanent position with 20 hours guaranteed per week. Prepare, serve, and present beverages while operating the bar efficiently during service. Deliver responsible service of alcohol, ensuring safe consumption and compliance with regulations. Maintain clean, hygienic, and well‑organised bar and public areas. Manage cash handling and point‑of‑sale transactions accurately. Assist with stock control, ordering, rotation, and maintaining adequate supply levels. Experience in bar service, hospitality, or a customer‑facing role (preferred). Holds (or willing to obtain) a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate . A reliable, physically fit team player who can also work independently. Strong communication and customer service skills with a positive attitude. Able to work efficiently under pressure in a structured environment.
