Senior Advisor - Environment & Communications About You You are a confident advisor and communicator who brings together technical expertise, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to building strong relationships. You can navigate complex issues, turn information into practical advice, and work effectively with whānau and a wide range of partners. You will ideally bring: At least 3–5 years’ experience in environmental or resource management, communications, project delivery, or working with mana whenua. Experience assessing resource consent and concession applications. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content. Strong project management, organisational, and prioritisation skills. A sound understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori, and the Ngāi Tahu settlement context. The ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders. A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience. A full New Zealand driver licence.
