Head Chef Company: Amaira Batta Limited trading as Café Lacus Location: 650 Lake Terrace, Taupo Pay Rate: $40 - $45 depending on your experience Hours per week – Minimum 30 hours – Maximum - 40 Hours Type – Permanent full time We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our Kitchen at Café Lacus at Taupo. Requirements At least 3 years of relevant experience, or a New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) Diploma in a relevant field. Key Responsibilities Create and plan to appeal cafe menus, daily specials, and cabinet food. Estimate food and labour costs. Monitor the quality and presentation of dishes. Lead food preparation. Prepare and cook food. Follow and enforce food hygiene and safety regulations. Select and train kitchen staff. Freeze and preserve food when required.
