Engineering Team Lead

About the Role As an Engineering Lead at Jade, you'll play a pivotal role in developing both people and technology. Reporting to the Senior Delivery Manager, you'll lead a team of talented software engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance while fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll balance people leadership with technical contribution. You'll help shape engineering practices, influence technical direction, and support the delivery of high-quality software solutions for our customers. Working across a variety of projects and customer engagements, you'll champion engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation while helping your team grow and succeed. What You'll Be Doing: Leading and growing a team of talented engineers through coaching, mentoring, and regular development conversations, you will also: Provide technical leadership across design, architecture, and delivery, helping the team build high-quality software solutions. Stay hands‑on when needed, contributing to technical problem-solving and supporting complex delivery work. Champion great engineering practices, including quality, automation, security, and continuous improvement. Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to design and deliver great outcomes. Help build a positive, high‑performing team culture where people can do their best work. Technologies: .Net/C# Front end – React or similar CI/CD About You An experienced software engineering leader who enjoys helping both people and technology thrive, you bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for developing others. You'll also have: Significant experience in software engineering, including leading or mentoring engineers. Strong skills in software design, architecture, and delivering quality solutions. Experience working in Agile environments and leading teams through successful delivery. A coaching approach to leadership and a commitment to helping others grow. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for modern engineering practices. Ideally, you'll also bring experience with cloud-based solutions and Microsoft technologies. Why Jade?
