What You'll Be Part Of Representing the Volkswagen brand within a well-established Giltrap dealership Working with the latest vehicle technologies and diagnostic systems Accessing Volkswagen factory training and certification pathways Joining a professional team committed to technical excellence and customer satisfaction Contributing to the growth and success of a dealership entering an exciting new phase Automotive Technician As an automotive technician, you will play a crucial role in our team and be at the forefront of vehicle diagnostics, services, and repairs. On a day-to-day basis, you will: Perform vehicle diagnostics, services, and repairs Execute repair tasks and maintenance to meet and exceed dealership and brand standards Meticulously adhere to checklists and maintaining exceptional quality standards Take vehicles for test drives post-repairs to ensure peak performance Achieve and maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency Stay ahead of the curve with mandatory factory training About You Our ideal candidate is a passionate and qualified Automotive Technician with a track record of excellence in a similar role. We're seeking someone who brings: The expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with our team and customers A full, clean, and current driver license Strong problem-solving abilities EV certification, high-voltage accreditation, or experience working on electric vehicles (preferred) What We Offer When you join Giltrap Group, you're joining New Zealand's leading automotive group.
