About the Role We have an exciting 3-6 month fixed term contract opportunity for a qualififed Automotive Technician (4th Year Apprentice) available within our Henderson workshop, offering valuable hands‑on experience across a diverse range of automotive brands including Subaru, LDV, KGM and more.This role would suit someone who is passionate about the automotive industry and eager to gain exposure within a busy dealership environment. You'll support the wider workshop team with vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair activities while developing your skills and experience with multiple vehicle brands and technologies. You will: Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and inspections across a range of vehicle brands including Subaru, LDV, KGM and others. Carry out general mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer standards. Support the workshop team with diagnostics, repairs, and preparation of customer vehicles. Complete oil changes, tyre rotations, brake inspections, and other scheduled maintenance activities. Assist in identifying and reporting vehicle faults and repair requirements. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Inchcape quality standards. Conduct vehicle quality checks and maintain accurate service records and documentation. Work collaboratively with Technicians, Workshop Controllers, and Service Advisors to support daily workshop operations. About You: Qualified Automotive Technician or a 4th Year Apprentice nearing completion of your trade qualification. Previous experience performing vehicle servicing and general automotive repairs. Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and develop your technical skills. Passionate about delivering quality workmanship with a keen eye for detail. A positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. WOF authority is advantageous but not essential.
