Job Description About us At Evolve Rehabilitation, we support clients through their rehabilitation journey in a safe and structured environment. We offer short, medium, and long-term residential support to help clients regain independence and re-learn daily living skills. We provide a safe, friendly, inclusive and diverse work environment. About the role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapy Assistant to join our supportive team. You’ll play a key role in assisting therapists to deliver high-quality, person-centred therapy for clients with brain injuries and other disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact and contribute to improving clients’ independence, confidence, and wellbeing. What you’ll do: Assist therapists in implementing individualised therapy plans Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and comfort Help with therapeutic equipment and ensure it’s used safely Document session activities, progress, and client responses Encourage and motivate clients during therapy exercises and daily activities Communicate effectively with therapists, clients, and families Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards This is a permanent position for 60 hours per fortnight and is located at Evolve Rehabilitation, Gisborne.
