Bar Supervisor / Duty Manager (Casual) - Forsyth Barr Stadium x 5 Lead from the front. Be part of major events. Create unforgettable customer experiences. Every shift is different – combine bar operations, customer service, team leadership, and event hospitality. As a Bar Supervisor at DVML Forsyth Barr Stadium , you will oversee the performance of food and beverage team members while ensuring exceptional service delivery, responsible alcohol service, and smooth bar operations. You'll help create memorable guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and hospitality excellence. This is a Casual position where hours of work are "as and when" required basis upon business needs. therefore, sucessfull candidate MUST be availalble to work during weekends . Supervise and support bar team members, allocating tasks and assisting with service delivery during events. Manage day-to-day bar operations including drink preparation, stock management, cash handling, and bar setup/close-down. Ensure the responsible service of alcohol and maintain compliance with all licensing requirements. Deliver outstanding customer service while resolving customer concerns professionally and efficiently. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and health & safety across bar and public areas. Previous experience in hospitality, bar operations, or a similar food and beverage environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team. A current General Manager's Certificate (Liquor Service) . Excellent communication and customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude. Reliable, physically fit, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced event environment.
