We’re looking for a warm, organised and detail-focusedEvent Sales Coordinator to help bring meetings, conferences, private dining andspecial occasions to life in one of Auckland’s most distinctive luxury boutiquehotels. Setin the heart of the Britomart precinct, our hotel is known for considereddesign, genuine hospitality, sustainability and a strong sense of place. Thisrole would suit someone who enjoys building trusted client relationships,bringing calm to the details, and working alongside a close-knit team todeliver beautifully hosted events. Aboutthe role AsEvent Sales Coordinator, you’ll support our MICE and events business from firstenquiry through to final invoicing. You’ll prepare proposals, contracts,Banquet Event Orders, floor plans and event documentation, while helpingclients feel informed, cared for and confident at every stage. Working closelywith our Sales, Food & Beverage, kitchen, reservations and operationsteams, you’ll help ensure each event reflects the thoughtful service andattention to detail The Hotel Britomart is known for. Keyresponsibilities Welcome and manage event enquiries with care, professionalismand timely follow-up. Prepare thoughtful proposals, quotes, contracts, BEOs, menus,seating plans, run sheets and floor plans. Support site inspections, familiarisation visits and clientmeetings that showcase our spaces and service style. Coordinate event details with Food & Beverage,operations, reservations, kitchen and trusted external suppliers. Maintain accurate client, account and event information inSalesforce and hotel systems. Support invoicing, pre-payment, reconciliation and post-eventfollow up. Nurture strong client relationships and help createopportunities for repeat businAt least 12 months’ experience in events, hospitality, hoteloperations, sales coordination or a similar client-facing role. A warm, polished and professional communication style. Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail. A calm, proactive approach and the ability to bring peopleand details together. Confidence using Microsoft Office; experience withSalesforce, Protel or sales and catering systems is an advantage. Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends when business needsrequire.
