In-House Cleaner

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys keeping spaces well-presented, and can work independently while following established cleaning routines and health and safety standards. About the role As our In-House Cleaner, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across office spaces, kitchens, restrooms, hallways and other shared areas. You'll play an important part in ensuring our workplace remains safe, tidy and comfortable for employees, visitors and customers. What you'll be doing Cleaning and sanitising office spaces, restrooms, kitchens, hallways and common areas. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing surfaces, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste safely. Replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, soap and paper towels. Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch areas, including doorknobs, light switches and handrails. Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Safely using and storing cleaning products and equipment. Following cleaning schedules, routines and health and safety requirements. Assisting with special cleaning projects when required. About you Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred, but not essential. You have strong attention to detail and take pride in doing a job well. You can follow instructions, cleaning procedures and safety requirements. You're reliable, organised and able to work independently or as part of a team. You're comfortable with the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, bending and lifting.
