Mōu | About you\n

We are looking for a strong team player who can manage our ensure our office systems run effectively and who is keen to be an integral part of our positive service culture. Based in our Ensors Road Service Centre and also working at the regional administration building outside Christchurch Mens Prison, you will work closely with the Managers of the Psychological Services Canterbury Area Group to support our registered clinical professionals in the provision of their work, office processes and project activities across two sites. With a keen eye for detail, you will be instrumental in supporting our psychology service, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external customers and stakeholders across the country. Possessing effective communication and organisational skills, responsibilities will be dynamic and undertaken as part of a group of three administration staff in the office. Everyday can be a little different and tasks will include:

  • Co-ordination and management of the referral process and Parole Board requests
  • \n
  • Co-ordination and organisation of meetings, functions, seminars and other events on behalf of the team
  • \n
  • Travel and expenses coordination
  • \n
  • Health, Safety and Wellbeing representation
  • \n
  • Budgeting and reporting, presentations, reception duties and general correspondence
  • \n
  • Equipment and facilities maintenance
  • \n
  • Maintaining and updating records, systems and files
  • \n
  • Developing office systems that enhance efficiencies and ensure legal and professional obligations are met
  • \n
  • Supporting the Manager Psychological Services with Ministerial and Official Information Act requests
  • \n
  • Working alongside other departmental psychological services offices, particularly in Canterbury, and supporting projects
  • \n

With your natural can-do attitude you will quickly identify, address and resolve the needs of the service as they arise. You will demonstrate competency in the MS suite of applications, be meticulous in the recording and maintaining of information and committed to delivering a high level of service to our organisation.

If you can communicate well, organise effectively, multi-task to meet deadlines, experienced in using computer software, and navigating a large organisation.

The salary for this role is $65,618 - $69,718 per annum.

Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
