Caughey & Dignon Limited Trading As Northern Districts Security - Whangarei, North Island We have permanent mobile patrol officer role available for the right candidate. Reporting to the NDS operations supervisory team and working closely with our group of companies, you will be ensuring safe and efficient experience for some of our key clients. As a patrols officer you will follow an existing route checking and securing property and people ensuring our community and clients are well protected overnight. You will be the first on scene, responding to alarm activations and will join an essential part of our company’s security service offering. 2025 Winners of the Workplace Injury Prevention Award your safety is our highest priority. Our vehicles offer GPS monitoring and dual facing camera's; we also have a welfare system that ensures you are checked in on regularly. We are looking for professionals with strong driving experience and flexibility, to fit into our 24/7 roster. However we can work with the right candidate to give permanent shifts and permanent days off. Mobile patrols offer 12-hour overnight shifts and are best suited to someone familiar with night shift. Strong observational skill with ability to make sound well-reasoned decisions quickly. Physical ability to patrol sites including walking, lifting and using stairs. Professionalism, reliability, and trustworthiness. Self-motivation and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team. Confidence and self-awareness balanced with ability to take direction. Ability to navigate smart-phone technology A current Certificate of Approval License (COA) is preferred You must be over the age of 18. You must hold a current Full NZ Driver's License.
