We're looking for a motivated Packing Operator to join our high-performing team at New Image Group, based at our Paerata site in Auckland. This is a permanent, full-time position working on a rotating shift pattern. As a Packing Operator, you'll play a critical role in delivering premium-quality products to our customers. You'll package products across our packaging lines, ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation are completed accurately for export preparation, while monitoring key performance indicators. You'll also support the staging area, ensuring raw materials and stock are managed efficiently and to quality standards. This is a hands‑on role where accuracy, problem‑solving and teamwork are key. What you'll be doing – Ngā kawenga matua Set up, operate and shut down packing machinery safely, following procedures at every step Package product accurately, keeping an eye on rate, weight, damage and on‑time performance Complete documentation, labelling and records accurately to meet food safety standards Manage the staging area, receiving, storing and rotating stock and materials to a high standard Be a first point of contact for troubleshooting equipment issues on your shift Keep your work area clean, safe and organised Work closely with your shift team to hit production and quality targets At least 2 years' hands‑on experience in a food manufacturing environment A sharp eye for detail and genuine commitment to following procedures in a regulated environment Comfortable working as part of a shift team in a fast‑paced, physical role Clear communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach A genuine appetite for learning, we support your development, including toward recognised Dairy qualifications Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for extended periods Flexibility for shiftwork and rostering At New Image Group, we value our people and invest in their success.
