Dodson Motorsport - North Shore, North Island Dodson designs and manufactures replacement clutches for high-performance cars with computer-controlled gearboxes. Many of the world's fastest GTRs, Lamborghinis, BMWs, EVOs, Corvettes and Porsches are reliant on our products. 95% of our sales are to overseas markets. As a Manufacturing Technician at Dodson, you'll be part of a hands-on team manufacturing precision clutch components for high-performance sports cars. Your work will focus on producing clutch steels and other critical components, making sure every part meets tight tolerances and strict quality standards. This is a great, entry-level opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, a steady hand, and a passion for mechanical work. You'll be working alongside experienced technicians and engineers, learning the ins and outs of motorsport-level quality and performance. Day to day you will Set up, operate, and monitor machines Follow production processes to make parts or finished products. Troubleshoot problems with machines, tooling, or processes. Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications (using gauges, micrometers, CMMs, etc.). Perform maintenance on machines (basic servicing, adjustments, cleaning). Document production data like output, defects, or downtime. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be: Reliable and able to follow instructions, processes, and safety protocols Practical, hands-on, and comfortable working with tools and machinery A team player with a positive attitude, willing to step in and help wherever needed Physically capable of lifting light components and shipping boxes as part of day-to-day duties The role is full-time, 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday (42.5 hrs/week), and must be performed on-site.
