Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Mātauranga Māori Suitable for beginning teachers Driven by strong whānau demand, we are establishing a bilingual space. Over six years, we have transformed our curriculum through a Te Ao Māori lens, embedding local history and iwi narratives, with Te Tiriti guiding our practise. Guided by our tomokanga, Te Wheke—co-designed with local iwi—our goal is for every Year 6 LEGEND to stand under Te Wheke and proudly share our history. Recognised for transformational curriculum change in an English medium setting, we now want to take this further for our LEGENDs who want to learn at level 1 - level 2. Your reo: Whether you are fluent or wanting to strengthen your reo, we will support your growth. Your professional opportunity: Help define what bilingual education looks like at Cloverlea, backed by a dedicated Board and a supportive team. There have been no set decisions made around class level, however, there are over 65 LEGENDs in year 2, 3 and 4, and with interest in year 5 and year 6 for 2027.
