Medical Receptionist and Clinical Assistant We are seeking a Medical Receptionist and Clinical Assistant to join our growing Medical businesses in Freemans Bay, Auckland. This full-time position will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical professionals. Job starts 7th September 2026 What you'll be doing Greeting and welcoming patients, managing patient flow, and ensuring a positive patient experience Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, including communicating any changes or updates Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and contact information Assisting with medical procedures and treatments, as directed by our clinical team Handling insurance claims and billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner Performing general administrative duties, such as filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies Promoting a positive and collaborative work environment by providing excellent customer service and support to both patients and colleagues What we're looking for Previous experience is not a pre-requisite You cannot be afraid of blood! Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail Proficiency in using computers A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a genuine interest in the medical field The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols Good eye hand co-ordination, and a basic understanding of hygiene What we offer At the Clinics, we are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing work environment for our employees.
