Premium Steak & Seafood Restaurant | Auckland We are seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our leadership team. This is a senior leadership position within a premium steak and seafood restaurant, working closely with the Executive Chef to drive standards, food quality, team development, service execution and operational performance. What We Are Looking For Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Sous Chef Strong European and International cuisine background Experience in premium restaurants or quality hotel operations Strong leadership and people management skills Food costing, labour control, ordering and stock management experience Excellent organisational and administrative abilities A hands‑on leader who leads from the front Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop the kitchen brigade Run kitchen service and maintain control of the pass Ensure every plate leaving the kitchen meets our standards Maintain consistency, presentation and food quality Support menu development and continuous improvement Manage food costs, labour costs and inventory Maintain food safety and compliance standards Service & Quality Leadership You will control service flow, direct the brigade, maintain communication across all sections, and ensure every dish delivered to guests meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, consistency and execution.
