We arelooking for Mr Whippy ice cream van driver/operators to join our team and working on the beautifulHibiscus Coast and the greater Auckland area this summer and autumn season. Fixed-term (part-time)and casual contracts availablestarting immediately Flexible days and up to 30-hours work per week available in February and March. You need to be available to work at least through until the end of March and ideally through April and May.. This is arewarding job working with happy people. It would suit a practical person who likes to get out and about in thecommunity. You will cater to private bookings and functions, sports clubs, big events, companies as well as selling at parks and beaches. To be a successful Mr Whippy operator you need to be sales-orientated and able to deliver the 'Mr Whippy Experience' to our eager customers. Driving a large van around Auckland is a critical part of this role. You need to be an experienced and confident driver. A strong customer focus with a friendly attitude is also essential, as is the energy to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for candidates who: have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude are reliable, honest and able to work efficiently, unsupervised are available to workweekends and/or on weekday afternoons and evenings have a fulldriving licence and canconfidently drive a large Ford Transtice cream van are clean and tidy operators who can follow food-safety serving procedures can handle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently Previous work experience handling of food is preferred, but not necessary. You’ll be working within aNational Programme 3 food safety plan and all necessary training is provided. We even supply you with a Mr Whippy uniform. The business is based out of Milldale in North Auckland. You’ll need to be able to get to and from Milldale each day that you work. We've previouslyrecruited some fantastic driver/operators from the New Zealand Backpacker Board. Theyhave now moved on with their travel plans and we are now looking for the next Mr Whippy ice cream superstars to join our team.
