Senior BAS Accountant

We are working well-established Chartered Accounting firm in Hawera that is looking for an experienced Senior BAS Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, taking ownership of their portfolio, and playing an important role within a supportive public practice environment. What You'll Be Doing Managing your own portfolio of clients Preparing annual accounts, GST returns and other compliance work Reviewing work and supporting junior and intermediate accountants Working closely with the wider team and senior leadership Building and maintaining strong client relationships What You'll Bring Experience managing your own client portfolio 5+ years' experience within a New Zealand CA/public practice environment Strong knowledge of GST, financial statements and compliance CA qualified, or actively working towards CA, would be highly regarded The confidence to work independently while contributing to a wider team Why You'll Love This Role Competitive salary of $80K-$100K+, with flexibility for the right person.
