As part of our continued expansion, we have recently established a new base in Whanganui, with significant growth planned. We are now seeking a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join the team and play a key role in building and supporting this operation. You will also play an important role in supporting the growth and establishment of engineering operations at the Whanganui base. You must: Hold a current CAA New Zealand Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence Have Group 1 Aeroplane and Group 1 Powerplant ratings Have experience with both composite and metal aircraft Have a solid working knowledge of piston engines Experience on Tecnam aircraft and/or Rotax engines Familiarity with FlightCert maintenance tracking software (or willingness to learn) What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of NZCAA rules and regulatory compliance A proactive and solution-focused mindset Ability to operate effectively in a growing and evolving environment Flexibility with working hours to support operational requirements What You’ll Get in Return The opportunity to be part of building a new engineering base from the ground up A modern, well-maintained fleet that is enjoyable to work on A team that values professionalism, efficiency, and high standards Career progression opportunities as the organisation continues to expand Remuneration will be highly competitive and negotiated based on experience.
