Picton Surgery is a well-established general practice located in the heart of Howick, East Auckland. The Role We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic General Practitioner (GP) to join our team. Working alongside a skilled group of GPs, nurses, and administrators, you'll provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to an established and growing patient population. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive practice where quality care, continuity of service, and positive patient outcomes are at the heart of everything we do. Our practice is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm, with no weekends or public holidays. We welcome applications from GPs interested in either full-time or part-time opportunities and are happy to work with you to find an arrangement that suits your preferences. What You'll Do Deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary healthcare Build strong and lasting relationships with patients and families Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Support preventative health initiatives and long-term condition management Contribute to positive health outcomes for a diverse community What You'll Bring Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) registration Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) or working towards Fellowship Experience working in a general practice setting Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous professional development Understanding of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in practice Confidence using clinical and practice management systems Legal entitlement to live and work in New Zealand About You You're a caring and motivated GP who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues.
