Production Assistant (Little Bird Organics) Join the Little Bird Organics team! You will be involved in the preparation, processing and packaging of our retail products. While your main focus will be within production, we like to cross-train our team across different areas of the business. This provides opportunities to learn new skills and gain a better understanding of our wider operations. Key responsibilities Preparation, processing and packaging of retail products Working as part of the production team Location and hours The role will be permanently based at our production facility in Paerata, near Pukekohe . The initial few weeks of training will take place at our current facility in Māngere Bridge . Days: Monday to Friday Usual hours: 7am-3pm Training hours: 8am-4pm Some flexibility may be required depending on production needs. About you Reliable, practical and comfortable working as part of a team Strong attention to detail Maintains high standards of cleanliness Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality products Can travel to Māngere Bridge during the initial training period Can work the usual 7am-3pm shift, with some flexibility when required Previous food manufacturing experience and an understanding of stock control, FIFO principles and food safety would be beneficial, but are not essential About us Little Bird Organics is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Production Assistant to join our production team.
