As we continue to grow, we're seeking an Operations Manager to lead our field operations team and help drive the next stage of our business evolution. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll take ownership of our operational delivery function, leading technicians, coordinating resources, improving systems, and ensuring our customers receive safe, reliable and professional service every time. Working closely with the General Manager and Technical Manager, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering service, maintenance and project activities while developing a high-performing operational culture focused on accountability, customer service and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in developing our systems, processes, team capability and future growth strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of field-based service technicians. Manage scheduling, resource allocation and operational workflows. Coordinate maintenance activities, projects, subcontractors and customer requirements. Drive health, safety and operational compliance across all field activities. Develop and improve operational systems, procedures and service standards. Monitor performance, productivity and service delivery outcomes. Build strong customer relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery. Support the business transition towards proactive maintenance, reliability-centered thinking and long-term asset management solutions. What We're Looking For You may currently be an Operations Manager, Service Manager, Field Service Manager, Maintenance Manager, Project Manager or a senior Operational Supervisor or other leader looking for your next challenge. You'll bring: Proven experience leading field-based service or operational teams. Strong planning, scheduling and resource management skills. Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors and projects. Excellent people leadership and communication skills. A strong commitment to workplace health and safety. Commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer outcomes with business performance. Experience improving systems, procedures and operational performance. Confidence making decisions and solving problems in a dynamic environment. Experience within wastewater, water, utilities, infrastructure, facilities management, maintenance, electrical, mechanical or related other service provider industries would be highly regarded.
